Talya Ferro has performed her one woman show in the
major venues of every continent on the globe, and is
proud of several command performances, as well as
numerous international television shows, including
Barbara Walters, Sabado Gigante, and 38 performances
on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. She is
remembered in the classic films, ÒSparkleÓ and ÒLet's
Do It AgainÓ in which she co-starred with Sidney
Poitier and Bill Cosby. Her original hit rendition of
the song ÒWaveÓ written expressly for her by Antonio
Carlos Jobim, is now a genuine classic standard.
Emmy award winner, John Rodby, has worked extensively
in film and television as a composer, key-boardist and
arranger. He was musical director for both the Shari
Lewis television series, ÒCharlie Horse's Musical
PizzaÓ, and 10 years for the Dinah Shore television
show. Rodby is also an accomplished classical pianist
and composer, and has worked for many of the biggest
names in the business as a pianist-arranger including
Frank Sinatra, Barbara Streisand, Liza Minnelli, Rita
Moreno,
James Brown, Jack Benny, Danny Thomas, Vicki Carr,
Peggy Lee and is currently musical director for Al
Martino.
